    Enhance the monitoring level of concrete preparation

    (1) Improve the supervision and inspection level of the quality of concrete raw materials. During the preparation of concrete, technicians should analyze the parameters and quality of the concrete components to ensure they meet the requirements, and should choose admixtures with high compatibility with cement for preparation to prevent incompatibility between admixtures and cement, thereby fully utilizing the concrete raw materials and achieving the goal of improving the compatibility between admixtures and cement.

    (2) Cement manufacturers, concrete raw material manufacturers, and admixture manufacturers should closely cooperate to identify incompatible components in cement, concrete, and admixtures, and actively communicate to ensure their compatibility. For example, during the production of admixtures, if there are compatibility issues between the produced admixtures and cement, manufacturers should actively communicate and improve the admixture composition to meet the requirements of concrete construction.

    (3) During the concrete preparation process, technicians should actively communicate with admixture manufacturers and adjust the concrete mix ratio according to their suggestions to ensure that the concrete performance meets the requirements.

    Develop high-performance water reducers

    High-performance water reducers are crucial for controlling the compatibility between concrete admixtures and cement. Currently, the commonly used water reducers in infrastructure projects in China are mainly organic compounds. Although these water reducers have a high water reduction rate, their compatibility with cement is poor. Therefore, to ensure the quality of concrete, the development of high-performance water reducers is essential. To improve the compatibility between high-performance water reducers and cement, composite admixtures can be used. Additionally, when determining the concrete mix ratio, the initial slump should be appropriately increased to ensure compatibility. Before concrete preparation, the ratio of water to water reducer should be determined in the laboratory to ensure compliance with requirements. The proportions of various concrete components should be calculated and accurately controlled. During the preparation process, the proportions should be carefully controlled to ensure that the concrete meets quality requirements.

     

    Enhance the quality inspection of admixtures and cement

    Relevant studies have shown that the quality of admixtures and cement directly affects their compatibility. Therefore, before concrete preparation, technicians should inspect the quality of cement and admixtures to ensure they meet the requirements for concrete production.
